My go-to style has always been cartoon characters — I’ve always been fascinated by facial expressions, both human and animal — but this year, I made it my goal to branch out. As I grew more comfortable drawing 2D faces, I began to focus on 3D art, emphasizing color and shadow. The three pieces I chose were created using my favorite mediums: acrylic paint, markers, and fineliner pens.
