My concentration for my photography this year was urban architecture. I wanted to explore the condensed city life and architecture of San Francisco. I focused on skyscrapers and the feeling of being surrounded by the busy atmosphere. I learned through my project that I can capture the structures that Iām interested in without the feeling of a constantly moving city. I moved towards a more intimate and design element of capturing architecture. I used reflections and mirror images along with the more unique architecture of San Francisco to really narrow down my ideas. After shooting with these reflections, and not always being in the busy parts of the city, my ideas flowed and my visions came into practice.
