In a way, I’m interested in every kind of art. It’s the mentality that I would like to try everything that is out there, but often do not have the tools necessary or the time/bandwidth to do it. There are just so many different forms of art, all incredible in their own ways. Along with that, I have a strong passion for concept art and obscure illustration pieces that target a specific character, scene, setting, or mood/tone. However, my true passion has always lied in telling the story that goes behind the art. It’s my belief that the way the story is portrayed and written makes everything when looking at any form of media.

Maybe the art is absolutely breathtaking and incredible, but if the story isn’t there it’s just not as interesting to me. I like to think that most of my art is like you are pausing a movie and you can tell what is happening based on a specific character, scene, setting, or mood/tone. I like to follow a “one art piece tells a story” kind of mentality. With every piece I create, whether it be a scene/setting or simply a character sitting in a blank space, I want my audience to look at it and evaluate the situation.
