They Inspire Me is a collection of work by my Drawing and Painting 1 students. They were ask to draw a portrait of someone that inspires them. They where encouraged to consider those directly in their lives as well as those who are famous.

Ronda inspires me because she is very hard working and always puts her everything into what she does. Even when she is faced with adversity, she proves to everyone that she can overcome it by working hard. I always think of her as a role model who I can look up to and aspire to be in the future.

When I think of Emersyn, the top three words that come to mind are loyal, compassionate and genuine. She is such a kind, funny person and an incredible friend. She is not afraid to be her most authentic self, and she inspires those around her to do the same. Talking to her is so comforting and she makes everyone feel good about themselves. Emersyn inspires me because she is so forgiving, she is always there when I need her, and she makes me laugh when nobody else can.
